We're looking for anADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR 2 - CWAE to join ourRevenue Processing Center Division.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Mail extraction is done manually, through the use of mechanical extraction desks, or through the use of mechanical extraction desks with an attached integrated imaging module. Alternatively, hand opening of items in accordance with assigned priorities
Envelope contents are analyzed to determine the appropriate workflow for the most efficient processing of documents. Initial batch folders are prepared for tax processing categories in volumes as instructed.
Document contents are examined to verify that the data is for LDOR. If data is not for LDOR, transmit to applicable area. If a document indicates that a remittance is required and none is enclosed, must note tax return as no-remit and affix initials. Thoroughly examines all envelopes to ensure no content remains.
Envelopes are retained by tax category using the instructed procedures. Reassembles remittance, tax document, attachments and envelope in the manner instructed. Date stamps all applicable items to establish basis for reference, audit-trail and computation of penalty and interest. All items are grouped by tax @type and tax processing category (remittance, no-remittance, etc.) and placed in batch folders for transmission to the System Operations section.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
This position will be filled as a Classified WAE (CWAE). Incumbents in these positions may not work more than 1,245 hours within a 12-month period.
A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments. It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana.
LA R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform job duties. Any applicant who receives and accepts a conditional offer of employment will require a completed criminal history records check prior to his or her first day of work.

LDR- LA. R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue ("LDR") to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform his job duties. If you are given a conditional offer of employment, a criminal history records check will occur before your first day of work. The check requires submission of your fingerprints that will be run through national and state databases to determine if any criminal offenses are connected to your name.
