Financial Analyst- Entry Level

SLC, UT (In-Office) - Relocation required without relocation assistance

$47-56K/year

A prestigious firm based in Salt Lake City is seeking Financial Analysts to join its Global Banking & Markets division across several teams within the organization. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the lifecycle of transactions, enabling seamless execution across trading, sales, and client-facing teams. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates seeking exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a leading global financial institution.

About the Role

Working in the operations division requires financial analysts to partner with stakeholders across front office, risk, technology, and operations teams to ensure accurate processing, effective controls, and timely resolution of operational matters. These opportunities offer broad exposure to multiple asset classes, products, and functional teams, making it an ideal entry point for individuals interested in building a career in financial markets operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily operational processes associated with trade capture, validation, and lifecycle management

Coordinate with internal teams to resolve breaks, exceptions, and client inquiries

Facilitate communication between front office, operations, technology, and control functions

Monitor workflows to ensure adherence to timelines, procedures, and risk controls

Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation efforts

Contribute to team deliverables, reporting, and project-based work streams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (MUST BE COMPLETED)

1-2 internships in financial markets, banking, or operations functions (preferred)
