Summary The incumbent serves as the Program Analyst within the Health Administration Service (HAS at the Richard L. Roudebush V AMC in Indianapolis, IN - a Level lA Complexity Facility. The incumbent will have responsibility for coordinating administrative functions for support staff in various clinics and clinical support areas. Responsibilities The incumbent utilizes quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation techniques to advise HAS Leadership on the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, information and documentation systems, and similar functions of management in order to ensure short-range and long-range strategic initiatives, performance measures and monitors are met relating to clinic wait times, clinic flow, care coordination, provider continuity, appointment availability, consult management, electronic wait lists, and all other aspects of clinic operations. The incumbent provides administrative support to the MSA Float Pool by managing the LEAF requests for MSA Float Pool coverage. The incumbent ensures staff assigned to the requested location have been trained and are suitable to provide coverage for the clinical location. The incumbent receives, tracks, and completes LEAF requests for MSA Float Pool assistance, creates and maintains weekly schedules for all MSAs assigned to the MSA Float Pool, and collaborates with the MSA Float Pool Supervisory MSAs to coordinate coverage and execution of the schedule. The incumbent assists in the oversight of HAS Call Centers and Telephone Operators, including the assurance that all patient care calls into RLRVAMC meet all the local and national standards of performance. The incumbent manages the HAS Patient Advocacy Tracking System - Replacement (PATS-R) program. He/she is responsible for providing service recovery to upset Veterans, tracking compliments received by the service, and completing case responses in the PATS-R system. The incumbent manages the HAS Joint Patient Safety Reporting (JPSR) program. He/she is responsible for investigating patient safety issues, collaborating with the supervisor of the area, formulating a response and notating in the JPSR system.
