Position Summary...
The Director, Asset Protection - Supply Chain AP Operations & Vertical Startups provides enterprise leadership for asset protection strategy, risk mitigation, and shrink reduction across supply chain operations and emerging vertical startups. This role partners cross-functionally to identify risk, design and scale programs, and drive compliance through data, process, and people leadership. The Director also leads key external relationships and builds a high-performing, values-driven organization grounded in integrity and ethics.
What you'll do...
Lead AP strategy and best practices ?by using modeling and statistical analysis toidentifykey opportunities, partnering with cross-functional teams, building long-range plans and timelines, and influencing senior leaders through clear, actionable insights.
Serve as a subject matter expert to address shrink surges ?by leading investigations, bringing externalperspectiveand best practices, educating teams on proactive detection and prevention, and conducting follow-up reviews to ensure sustained improvement.
Direct strategic risk mitigation programs, data systems, and services ?by designing and leading cross-functional initiatives, guiding implementation and execution across multiple workstreams, and measuring program effectiveness to close compliance gaps and continuously improve.
Own and optimize third-party and banking relationships ?by setting goals and service expectations, tracking recoveries and service quality, recommending agency/firm realignment and new initiatives, resolving payment/fee issues, and reviewing/approving invoices.
Provide overall operational and strategic direction ?by translating businessobjectivesand customer needs into strategies and plans,forecastingand managing costs,determiningresource requirements, evaluating processes, measuring outcomes, and championing continuous learning and adaptability.
Build and sustain a high-performing team ?byidentifyingcapability gaps,recruitingand developing talent, supporting mentorship and succession planning, andleveragingthe strengths of new and existing associates.
Model and reinforce integrity and ethics ?by embedding company standards into programs and practices,establishingconsequences for non-compliance, and supporting a culture of transparency and the Open Door Policy.
Strengthen partnerships and networks ?by developing internal and external relationships that accelerate business outcomes, sponsoring community outreach initiatives, and engaging stakeholders in planning, execution, and evaluation.
What You'll Bring
Proven leadership in? asset protection strategy, shrink reduction, and risk mitigation ?within complex, multi-site operations (supply chain and/or large-scale retail environments preferred).
Demonstrated ability to use? data, analytics, and statistical modeling ?to diagnose risk, prioritize opportunities, and drive measurable results.
Experience leading? cross-functional programs ?from design through implementation, including governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Strong capability managing? third-party vendors, recovery partners, and financial/banking stakeholders , including performance management and issue resolution.
Track recordof? influencing executives and senior decision-makers ?through clear communication, business cases, and change leadership.
Peopleleadership strengths in? talent development, engagement, mentorship, and succession planning .

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Production/Operations Management, or related field and 5 years' experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience.
