Physical Therapist (Per Diem) - Wareham

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic care team at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. As a Per Diem Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process. Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

Screens patients/residents and evaluates their needs

Develops and implements individualized care plans

Provides direct treatment to patients/residents in accordance with an established plan of care

Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers

Monitors efficiencies and documents activities according to company clinical documentation system

Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained

Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care

Requires intense attention and concentration

Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others

Ability to deal with a wide range of personality @types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds

Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language

Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
