Job Title: Sales RepresentativeJob Description
The Sales Representative will drive new business growth and expand relationships with emerging and established brands in the dietary supplement and skincare markets. This role focuses on proactively identifying, prospecting, and closing new opportunities while managing key client accounts and supporting the development of new products in a contract manufacturing environment. The position requires a strong hunter mentality, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to bring innovative products from concept to production.
Responsibilities
Generate new business by proactively prospecting and identifying opportunities with brand owners, product managers, and sourcing teams in the dietary supplement and skincare markets.
Conduct outbound calls, cold calling, and other business development activities to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted partner and primary point of contact.
Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach and needs assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
Collaborate closely with internal R&D, procurement, and operations teams to support product development, formulation, and successful transition from concept to production.
Stay informed on industry trends, ingredients, regulatory developments, and emerging brands to identify new opportunities and provide informed recommendations to clients.
Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track activities, maintain accurate account information, and forecast sales.
Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and solutions tailored to client needs.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and effective handoff to account support and operations teams.
Participate in occasional travel for trade shows, client meetings, and industry events to build relationships and promote the company's capabilities.
Manage time and territory effectively to meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to analyze data, prepare reports, and support sales planning and decision-making.
Essential Skills
2-5 years of sales, account management, or business development experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of experience in contract manufacturing or a related industry.
Experience in nutritional supplements, skincare, or contract manufacturing strongly preferred.
Prior experience selling for a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities in a B2B environment.
Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities with the confidence to engage decision-makers.
Demonstrated success in outbound sales activities, including cold calling and prospecting.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams on product development and formulation.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
Proficiency with CRM software for managing leads, accounts, and sales activities.
Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Oldsmar, FL. The schedule follows a Monday-Friday day shift, providing a consistent workweek. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams such as R&D, procurement, and operations within a contract manufacturing environment that supports dietary supplement and skincare brands. The position requires regular use of Microsoft Office, CRM software, and familiarity with ERP systems. Occasional travel is expected for trade shows, client meetings, and industry events, offering opportunities to network and stay current with market trends.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
Compensation Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary combined with commission based on sales performance, providing strong earning potential for candidates who successfully generate and close new business.
