Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative team culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting observations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control procedures and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.

Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or patrol findings while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
