Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Description
The Warehouse Manager oversees end-to-end warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and team leadership across multiple job sites. This role ensures accurate tracking of materials, safe and efficient storage and handling, and timely distribution to support construction and industrial projects. The position requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory across multiple job sites by tracking incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records using warehouse management systems and spreadsheet tools.
Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and transfers between the warehouse and job sites to meet project schedules.
Schedule and supervise drivers, ensuring timely, safe, and compliant transportation of materials.
Organize and optimize warehouse layout to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and safety.
Implement and maintain systems for labeling, storage, and retrieval of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and insurance purposes, including inventory, safety, and compliance documentation.
Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and field crews to anticipate and fulfill material needs.
Identify inefficiencies in inventory control, delivery scheduling, and space utilization, and implement practical solutions.
Support and drive digital transformation initiatives such as barcode systems and mobile inventory applications.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner as needed.
Promote and enforce warehouse safety standards and best practices at all times.
Be available to work extended hours, early starts, and occasional weekends when business needs require.
Essential Skills
3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience in construction or industrial settings.
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
Proficient knowledge of inventory processes and inventory control methods.
Proficiency in inventory software and basic Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to operate a forklift effectively and safely.
Proficient computer skills for managing digital records and warehouse systems.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including supervising and developing warehouse staff.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using warehouse management systems and mobile inventory applications.
Experience implementing or working with barcode-based inventory systems.
Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment.
Experience in warehouse inventory control and warehouse operation supervision.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support process improvements.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Willingness to support early start times, extended hours, and occasional weekend work when needed.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site warehouse role with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with early start times and occasional extended hours or weekend work when needed to meet project demands. The environment is a busy construction and industrial warehouse, involving frequent movement of materials, operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment, and coordination of shipping and receiving activities. Work is performed both indoors in the warehouse and around loading areas, with a strong emphasis on safety, adherence to OSHA regulations, and proper handling of hazardous materials. Team members typically wear practical work attire appropriate for a warehouse and construction setting, including any required safety gear such as high-visibility clothing, safety shoes, and other personal protective equipment as applicable.
