Production Test Engineers?(PTE)?are part of a manufacturing team who support?the?test process through one or more phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production and depot activities.??PTEs validates?and?ensures?compliance?of the prime hardware?to technical data package requirements?and supporting test equipment.??Interns will support the troubleshooting and problem solving of test failures while identifying?opportunities?in test processes to improve efficiency, yields, and capacity.??
This position is onsite at our Ft. Bliss (El Paso, TX) facility.
What You Will Do:
Support the validation of?new or modified test equipment for production use
Ensure the operation of test equipment and associated work instructions are accurate
Ensure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the product
Monitor and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields
Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution
Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software
Assist?in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis?and repair of the product or test equipment
Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and?present findings
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Must have a minimum of 30 hours by the start of Summer 2026
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PPT, Project, or Word)
Experience/education with data?analysis

Qualifications We Prefer:
Preferred majors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
3.0 cumulative GPA desired
Experience with hands-on hardware integration and?troubleshooting?

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
