We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to join our team and help us provide world-class support to our customers. This role requires a comprehensive grasp of company systems, services, policies, and customer service protocols, alongside the ability to navigate complex customer interactions with professionalism. Due to the depth and breadth of tasks involved, the learning curve for mastering the core aspects of this position typically spans over two years. This period provides new team members the opportunity to gain the hands-on expierences and nuanced understanding required to provide exceptional service to a diverse customer base effectively.

What You'll Do:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries professionally via phone, email, and customer portals.

Process price quotes, accept and manage new orders, and provide consistent updates to customers regarding timelines and delivery.

Efficiently and professionally investigate and resolve customer concerns, including technical issues and delivery challenges, while identifying complex cases or escalations requiring further review and seamlessly transferring them to supervisors or senior team members.

Foster positive relationships and trust with customers to encourage loyalty and retention.

Work closely with internal departments (Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Shipping) to fulfill customer needs and ensure exceptional service.

Support process optimization initiatives, provide feedback to leadership, and contribute to efforts that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Maintain customer databases, update records, and ensure order accuracy using company systems.

What You'll Bring:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, a college degree is a plus.

Prior experience in customer service, sales, or account management (inside sales preferred).

Manufacturing expperience preferred

Team player with problem solving skills and adaptability to a variety of customer needs.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency with basic computer programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $28-32/hr, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.
