Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Acquisition and Asset Manager to oversee enterprise IT procurement, inventory control, and lifecycle asset management across a large, complex organization. This role is responsible for managing acquisition workflows, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating asset audits, and ensuring timely renewals for maintenance and support agreements. The ideal candidate combines strong procurement knowledge with operational discipline and the ability to manage assets across distributed environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and acquisition standards.
Maintain accurate tracking of IT assets across their full lifecycle, including receipt, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Conduct bi-annual inventory reviews and support audit activities by ensuring records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Facilitate renewals of maintenance and support contracts to secure ongoing coverage, post-warranty support, and software upgrade entitlements.
Resolve warranty issues, coordinate product returns, and manage vendor interactions related to asset or procurement challenges.
Monitor market conditions and identify factors that may affect the timely acquisition of equipment or services.
Provide oversight and leadership to asset management and procurement personnel.
Identify opportunities to refine procurement strategies, improve efficiency, and reduce cost across the asset portfolio.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum of seven years of experience in enterprise IT planning, asset and inventory management, and procurement within large-scale environments.
Demonstrated experience supporting lifecycle asset management, including audit preparation, inventory reconciliation, and asset tracking activities.
Experience leading acquisition and asset management teams with responsibilities comparable to large enterprise or public-sector programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience analyzing procurement patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline service and support contracts, reduce redundant maintenance agreements, or optimize purchasing strategies.
