Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.

Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and compliance with site-specific expectations.

Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

This position may involve work in and around a hospital morgue.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
