As a Security Officer - Hospital Medical in Mangonia Park, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity while responding to daily site needs.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and/or other unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.

Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and/or traffic flow during busy periods, visiting hours, or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital vaccines are required.

Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be 21+ years of age.

Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
