Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

As a Warehouse (Environmental) Operator, you will be responsible for processing wastewater and assisting the Environmental Lead and Production Engineering personnel in troubleshooting problems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and monitoring equipment, completing corresponding paperwork, and ensuring the effective operation of machinery.

Responsibilities

Process wastewater on a daily basis.

Assist Environmental Lead and Production Engineering personnel in troubleshooting issues.

Monitor equipment and complete corresponding paperwork daily.

Repair machinery as necessary.

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Collect samples as needed.

Maintain storage tanks with basic upkeep.

Respond to spills effectively.

Transfer hazardous chemicals safely.

Clean hazardous chemical containers.

Conduct minor repairs on hazardous chemical piping.

Record information in the treatment by generator log.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

Willing to drive a forklift is required.

Mechanical aptitude is helpful.

Good math skills and mechanical ability are necessary.

Ability to read and write in English is essential.

Attention to detail is required.

Some computer experience is helpful.

Requires in-house Hazardous Communication training, to be refreshed annually.

Respirator training is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, and assembly.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a warehouse setting, operating machinery and equipment, including forklifts. You'll be expected to adhere to safety standards and wear appropriate protective gear, including respirators. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moses Lake, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
