Job Title: Warehouse Associate

1st 7am-3:30pm $18-20 direct placements

Job Description

This Warehouse Associate role focuses on material handling and shipping support within a busy manufacturing environment. You will operate sit-down forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials, gather and package products, and prepare orders for shipment. The position requires consistent, safe handling of materials, accurate order processing, and effective use of basic computer systems to support a heavy industrial manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

Handle materials in a manufacturing environment, including moving, staging, and organizing inventory.

Gather materials and boxes to accurately fill orders for shipping.

Pull materials and inventory from designated locations to fulfill pick lists and work orders.

Process orders on the computer, including updating order status and documenting shipments.

Operate a sit-down forklift to move products and load or unload trucks safely.

Use a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment to transport materials throughout the facility.

Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled carefully and placed in the correct locations.

Follow pick lists and work orders based on priority shipments to meet customer deadlines.

Support shipping and receiving activities, including checking in materials and preparing outgoing shipments.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures in a heavy industrial environment.

Essential Skills

Warehouse experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

Material handling experience, including moving and staging products and inventory.

Proficiency operating a sit-down forklift.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Experience with packaging, packing orders, and handling boxes.

Experience with shipping and receiving processes.

Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks as needed.

Experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks.

Ability to safely load and unload materials and trucks.

Comfort working in a heavy industrial, production-oriented environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr.
