How you create impact
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating and supervising all daily warehouse activities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing receiving, picking/packing, and shipping operations to ensure products are handled efficiently and accurately. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure all activities are performed in alignment with company service standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives.
Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments
Develop, implement and direct programs to promote a safety culture on site and to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property is a priority
Manpower analytical skills - daily and weekly staff planning and scheduling to make sure that each task has adequate resources
Conflict resolutions - responsible for resolving customer shipping and receiving issues
Analyze reports to ensure profitability of customer account
Communicate to the workforce on a daily basis including shift briefs
Manage the workforce within the Warehouse Operation to ensure an efficient operation is maintained
Supervise picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality and productivity
Supervise unloading, receiving and put away processes in accordance with K+N and customer procedures
Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all product is properly counted
What we would like you to bring
Must be US Citizen
Minimum Education: High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree
3+ years Leadership experience in high volume, fast paced distribution center / warehouse environment
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English
Proficient MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
Must have working knowledge of (WMS) Warehouse Management System technologies
Continuous Improvement Requirement:
