Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to support the Amazon Logistics Process Engineering team innovate at scale. This individual will be the owner of a process/product roadmap and ensuring delivery to the vision of the next generation of AMZL delivery station. This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazons growth to drive end to end product delivery from inception to execution. We are looking for passionate hands-on leaders with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Amazon Robotics, Worldwide Engineering and Design as well as Operations to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery station.
Responsibilities include:
Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Station
Work closely with a partner teams in Robotics, Engineering and Operations to build impactful products
Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.
Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Engineering Org.
Travel to various locations depending on business needs

About the team
As Senior Manager of Industrial Design Engineering, you lead a team of 10-15 engineers ensuring engineering excellence across your region. You act as the guardian of design compliance and performance consistency for mature automation technologies, working directly with vendors and integrators to maintain quality standards. Your role bridges global innovation with local execution-translating WW Central Engineering's standards into reliable, on-time deployments across delivery stations. You balance technical oversight of complex automation projects with strategic leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, and field teams to drive successful implementations that meet Amazon's exacting standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
5+ years of program management, project management or product management experience
Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, logistics, computer science or equivalent
Experience with financial and statistical modeling
Six Sigma Black Belt, or experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls , industrial electronics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
