At J&J MedTech Electrophysiology we have one goal - to ensure those with cardiac arrhythmias can live the lives they want. This means transforming the latest advancements in electrophysiology into a suite of tools that empowers physicians with a range of treatments for the best outcomes.
Reporting to the EP Director of Procurement, the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Procurement will be accountable to oversee external spend in support of the J&J EP business including both new product development and launched products. He / she will be a key leader in driving a fully integrated best in class Sourcing strategy for a critical segment of EP product portfolio.
This leader is expected to provide hands-on leadership in all aspects of global sourcing for EP, having overall responsibility for supplier selection, quality, reliability, innovation and cost. He / she will be responsible for developing relationship with key leaders across R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial Teams to provide overall coordination, facilitation and enablement of programs that will drive best practice strategic sourcing and will leverage J&J's position in external supplier spend.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Partner with Value Stream Leaders to understand business strategy and develop long-term sourcing strategy to improve supply reliability and optimize material costs for key growth products
Lead Market Engagement Programs to support competitive bidding for Make vs. Buy assessments, NPI supplier selection, and targeted component spend areas across Electronics, External Manufacturing, Direct Precision Material and Packaging Categories
Support 5+ strategic sourcing initiatives simultaneously across multiple products, global procurement categories, and geographies
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Lead multiple complex supplier negotiations simultaneously. Coordinate with key stakeholders, drive terms that are favorable for Biosense, and hand off stabilized products, contracts and suppliers to base business sourcing teams.
Lead SOURCE due diligence and transaction support for the Biosense business development teams for both product supply/distribution and acquisition activities.
Optimize quality, supply reliability, innovation and cost through early supplier engagement during product development.
Drive innovation through identifying and developing external partner capabilities to meet future technology needs.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Orchestrate of category/supplier management performed by the categories and oversight for the execution delivery of the strategic plan and business plan, in line with expectations put forth by BWI SC, Quality, R&D and Commercial functions
Qualifications:
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor's and/or University degree is required; Advanced degree preferred
Required Preferred Skills:
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience
Experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, R&D or Engineering field
Experience in Medical Devices or related industry
Excellent negotiating skills, should cost modeling and other cost management tools preferred
Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of project management, change management, and developing sourcing strategies
Ability to engage at the leadership level with both Suppliers and within J&J
Ability to absorb and analyze information to solve complex problems quickly
Ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive projects to successful completion
Strong business acumen
Excellent interpersonal skills - excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

$122,000.00 to $187,127.50
