Description We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Burnsville, Minnesota. This role focuses on overseeing financial planning and analysis for the retail division, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting at the store level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the retail division, with a focus on store-level precision and accuracy.

Partner with store managers, regional directors, and executives to validate and refine budget assumptions.

Utilize advanced financial modeling tools, including Excel, to create and update budget models, perform scenario analyses, and generate forecast summaries.

Analyze historical and current data to identify potential risks, opportunities, and anomalies.

Challenge unsupported assumptions and provide alternative, data-backed recommendations while facilitating necessary discussions.

Prepare and deliver budget presentations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Manage monthly budget tracking and variance analysis, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Conduct data validation and build reports to support ongoing financial tracking and decision-making.

Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a retail environment.

Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Strong ability to analyze data and draw insights to support decision-making processes.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting financial information.

Experience with budgeting tools such as Adaptive is preferred.

Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or similar platforms is a plus.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
