Job Summary
The Consumer Bank Marketing Director is accountable for developing innovative marketing strategies and plans designed to achieve line of business revenue targets and business growth objectives for the Consumer Bank, serving as a strategic and consultative partner to line of business leaders. Establishes effective relationships with partners as well as coaching and developing team members to maximize performance and drive engagement. The Consumer Bank Marketing Director leads high performing teams and marketing efforts for large-sized clients, prospects, territories, accounts, or internal relationships. May work within an agile operating mode and oversees marketing strategy design, campaign execution, campaign delivery from end-to-end in partnership with multiple teams across the enterprise. Additionally, the Director is responsible for marketing operations, inclusive of risk and control management and procedures, invoicing, forecasting, and managing a marketing budget.
Responsibilities
Directly manages a team of professionals; resource for entire team with the objective of driving business growth, across multiple marketing initiatives
Develops and implements strategies across multiple LOBs and Client Insights and Marketing functions
Integrated cross-functional perspective; proactively supports clients based on in-depth understanding of their business and industry best-practices
Superior writing skills, monitors quality; coaches others
Expert presentation development; delivers right message at right time; executive presence; coaches others
Collaborates with senior levels of the organization; reputation for consistently demonstrating leadership behaviors

Broad knowledge across multiple marketing disciplines
Create marketing strategies and oversee the design of marketing planning and execution for assigned product line(s)/segment(s) while adhering to established procedures
Provide timely and effective communication to team members and senior leadership to ensure awareness and commitment to defined marketing strategies and initiatives
Oversee direction of internal and external business partners including line of business partners, analytics, creative services, agencies, compliance, and leadership to support execution of an effective marketing plan
Outline framework for establishing marketing processes and manages risks effectively
Effectively recognize and escalate potential risk with a superior knowledge of all team control procedures, testing, and processes
Outline framework for creation and maintenance of internal policies and procedures
Review tactics used by the teams to ensure they are aligned with and achieve both marketing and business objectives
Manages a broad team of Marketing Consultants, Marketing Managers and support roles
Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
Own retail marketing analytics, performance measurement, and reporting across all channels
Build and scale advanced analytics capabilities, including attribution modeling, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling
Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Establish test-and-learn frameworks (A/B testing, experimentation) to continuously improve marketing effectiveness
Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent work experience (required)
Master's Degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
Experience Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience (required)
Exceptional knowledge of traditional and digital creative marketing development process
Proven ability to create effective marketing strategies and drive team execution in alignment with business goals
Superior understanding of banking products and segment needs
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional Oral & written communication skills
Ability to manage a broad teams in marketing planning, design and execution
Hands-on experience with marketing analytics, attribution, and performance measurement
Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, and advanced segmentation
Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and translating insights into business action
Strategic thinker with strong commercial and financial acumen
Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment

Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $116,000.00 - $216,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
