Customer Service Representative (Call Center)

Experience Level: Entry Level

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support customers in a fast-paced call center environment. This role focuses primarily on handling inbound calls, with some follow-up outbound communication as needed.

Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls (50-100 calls per day depending on complexity)

Answer questions related to prior authorizations, general inquiries, and confidential information

Accurately enter and update customer information across multiple systems

Provide high-quality customer service with strong attention to detail

Follow call center policies, procedures, and quality standards

Meet quality and accuracy performance metrics

Utilize multiple programs and systems to document interactions and track customer requests

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of call center experience

At least 1 year of consistent tenure in previous roles

High-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years

Typing speed of 30 WPM or higher

Strong computer knowledge and technical skills

Dependable work history (no job-hopping; jumpy resumes will not be approved)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
