Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation server solutions. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure the successful design, analysis, and production of high-quality mechanical components.

Responsibilities

Cooperate with customers for the development of next-generation server solutions.

Act as the first RD contact for local customers regarding design requests/tasks and provide customer feedback/solutions daily.

Collaborate with the factory for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and related drawing and Bill of Materials (BOM) works if necessary.

Handle production quality issues in customers' plants and provide effective solutions.

Design, test, analyze, and debug mechanical proto@types based on design requests.

Communicate and collaborate with team members in Taiwan.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

1+ years of experience in design and analysis of server, storage, desktop, or related electronic systems.

Extensive experience with Creo, proficient level (1+ years).

Excellent working knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles, specifically in large-scale production, sheet metal, and/or injection molding, electrical interconnect systems, and heat extraction.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at a customer location in North Austin, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The role offers 8 holidays and 1 week of paid time off. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.26/hr.
