The Warehouse, Shipping, and Receiving Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role supports business continuity by ensuring inventory accuracy, onAAAAAA'time deliveries, and compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Pick materials from inventory to support manufacturing and service demand Store materials in designated locations following FIFO and inventory control procedures. Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas. Perform material handling using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as required. Support cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy. Inventory & Documentation Enter and maintain accurate transactions in ERP system. Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate inventory issues, shortages, or delays to appropriate teams. Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records. Prepare outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation. Coordinate shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders to meet delivery requirements. Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and initiate corrective actions as needed. Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Support quality standards related to material handling and shipping processes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, work instructions, and shipping documents. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving operations. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight). Experience with cycle counting or inventory control processes.
