JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sun Retreats Fond Du Lac East Glenbeulah, WI, US Seasonal Full Time \$18 per hour Career Site Header Job Summary The Food and Beverage Supervisor chooses high standards as a guiding principle every day. They help oversee the daily operations of the F&B department, including sanitation and safety, customer service, and team member management. This position is responsible for the opening and closing of the operation, cash handling responsibilities, following proper liquor and bar procedures, food preparation and service, and the ordering, receiving, and stocking of food and related items. Job Duties Tracks sales and other key metrics to understand and drive financial goals and objectives provided by Food and Beverage Manager, Resort General Manager, and National Director of Food and Beverage. (Essential) Manages individual banks for each F&B facility. Collects, reconciles, and deposits individual reports and monies daily. (Essential) Ensures a positive guest service; responds to complaints quickly and effectively. (Essential) Ensures invoices are checked against deliveries and forwarded with money and receipts to the office daily; oversees the daily deposits and assists with reconciliation. (Essential)

Performs shift opening/closing duties, including starting/cleaning equipment, general food preparation, reporting malfunctions to manager, ensuring equipment is in proper working order and all operations are running smoothly. (Essential) Maintains kitchen and cooking areas and ensures kitchen equipment and food storage areas are clean, sanitary, and organized as required by the Health Department Rules and Regulations. (Essential) Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures. Prepare food ordered by customers using a variety of kitchen equipment (i.e. grills, ovens, fryers, meat slicers, food processors, etc.). Other duties as assigned. Creates a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment for team members and an open line of communication with staff. Works as necessary in any position within the food and beverage department, front or back of house. Ensures quality control in both the front and back of house via the proper recipes and preparation methods. Guarantees proper food safety and cleanliness standards are always observed. Reports any kitchen equipment or maintenance issue to the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Maintenance department. Promotes and represents the F&B amenities, as well as the resort, in a positive manner. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) 1 year in of increasingly responsible restaurant/food service management experience. (Required) 6 months in of previous bartending experience preferred. (Preferred) Demonstrated leadership abilities Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant administration, food preparation and food safety Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math skills Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience Mentality of a leader with a willingness to learn and grow Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) Maintains a professional resort image, including cleanliness and appearance standards Required Certifications/Licensures:(Must be able to pass the Safe Food Handler Certificate Program within 60 days from date of hire) PERKS & BENEFITS At Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
