As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public officials as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor movement at controlled entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with post orders.

Support order at the location by following use-of-force guidelines, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and/or preparing accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and inspections.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
