Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Human Resources Office of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR. Responsibilities You will advertise and offer civilian workforce development program, academic degree program (ADP), Civilian Fitness Program and Civilian Employee Assistance (CEAP) You will be responsible for advertising, managing, and executing the Academic Degree Program (ADP). You will review personnel actions in progress to ensure adherence to policy and compliance with negotiated agreements. Labor and Employee Relations to include discipline, labor, awards, performance management, and leave administration. You will assist manager in the development and implementation of training plans for employees under VRA appointment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising and providing guidance to management, employees and prospective employees regarding recruitments AND coordinating the processing of personnel actions and reports. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Education may be substituted for Specialized Experience for the GS-11 level as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
