Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting overall accounting operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization within the healthcare and social assistance industry.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Manage data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Handle invoice processing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Utilize QuickBooks to record and monitor financial transactions.

Reconcile discrepancies in financial records and resolve any issues promptly.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Assist in generating financial reports and summaries as needed.

Support audits by providing requested documentation and clarifications.

Maintain organized records and documentation for easy retrieval.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes for greater efficiency. Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable functions.

Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Familiarity with invoice processing and related workflows.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Ability to adapt to new tools and processes as needed.
