Job Title: A&P Mechanic - Line Maintenance (Boeing 747/767/777)
Job Description
This role performs line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 passenger and cargo aircraft in an outdoor line station environment. You respond to maintenance calls, troubleshoot issues, repair and replace interior parts, fluids, and components as needed, and sign off on airworthiness. You work as part of a small team of mechanics supporting a high volume of flights for multiple airlines.
Responsibilities
Perform line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 passenger and cargo aircraft in an outdoor line station environment.
Respond promptly to customer maintenance calls and assess aircraft issues on the line.
Troubleshoot mechanical and systems problems on Boeing aircraft and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Repair and replace interior parts, fluids, and components in accordance with approved procedures and documentation.
Carry out required inspections and verify that all maintenance tasks meet regulatory and company standards.
Sign off on airworthiness after completing maintenance, ensuring all work complies with applicable regulations.
Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and effectively while working on aircraft, including at significant heights when required.
Collaborate with a team of 3-4 mechanics under the guidance of a lead to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
Support a high volume of flights daily, prioritizing tasks to minimize aircraft downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate status updates to the lead and relevant stakeholders.
Follow all safety procedures and best practices for line maintenance in an outdoor environment.
Participate in training and on-the-job learning to increase familiarity with Boeing 747, 767, and 777 systems.
Essential Skills
Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Minimum of 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, which may include time in school.
Ability to perform line maintenance on large transport-category aircraft in an outdoor environment.
Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of aircraft components and fluids.
Capability to sign off on airworthiness in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using standard aircraft maintenance tools and equipment.
Comfort working at significant heights when performing repairs on areas such as the tail.
Strong teamwork skills to work effectively within a crew of 3-4 mechanics under a lead.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of recent hands-on experience working on Boeing 747, 777, or 767 aircraft is highly preferred.
General Familiarization training preferred on one or more of the following: Boeing 747-400, 747-8, or 767.
Line maintenance experience specifically on Boeing 747, 767, or 777 aircraft is a plus.
Ownership of basic hand tools suitable for aircraft maintenance; an indicative tool list is provided, and having every item is not required.
Strong troubleshooting skills on Boeing aircraft systems.
Ability to adapt to varying workloads driven by flight schedules and maintenance demand.

Work Environment
This is a line maintenance role performed entirely outside on the ramp, working directly on aircraft in all weather conditions. Maintenance is carried out on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 aircraft, sometimes at significant heights when working on areas such as the tail. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts on a 4-day workweek, with three primary shift options: 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Most maintenance activity occurs between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., which is reflected in the shift overlap. New hires typically train on the morning or afternoon shift to maximize exposure to active maintenance. You work as part of small teams of 3-4 mechanics per lead, supporting multiple airlines with several flights per day in a busy line station environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $77000.00 - $98000.00/yr.
Benefits: The current, standard company health, life, disability, and dental insurance coverage are generally supplied per company policy.
Eligibility for other benefits, including the 401 (k) plan, generally takes place per company policy. Employee contribution to payment for benefits plans is determined annually.
Eligibility for health benefits is on the 1st of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
