Construction Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the construction and facilities management industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the project execution team supporting facility and construction projects across various regions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: West Caldwell, NJ (onsite, not remote)

What's the Job?

Supervise and manage construction projects including new builds, tenant fit-outs, asset replacements, and maintenance activities.

Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project scope, schedule, and safety standards are met.

Develop and follow detailed project plans, estimates, and schedules using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Project.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and conduct daily safety reviews, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, prepare progress reports, and oversee project closeout documentation.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction or facility projects.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Experience with pre-construction estimating, bid review, and project planning.

Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Certification in OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training; PMP or similar certification is preferred.
