Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Location: Portland, OR

Schedule: Standard Business Hours

Job Description

Under moderate supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.

Foster a culture of interdependence by looking out for colleagues.

Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.

Recognize the potential environmental impact of your work and act to minimize negative effects.

Actively participate in required HSE training.

Quality

Follow all applicable standard work, work instructions, and established quality procedures.

Raise issues to help minimize costs and quality exposures.

Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.

Identify and control non-conforming material.

Delivery

Receive incoming goods, sort, label/package, and store items efficiently to optimize warehouse space.

Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship products as per customer requirements.

Meet required cycle times or defined engineering standards in daily work.

Teamwork

Communicate effectively with team members and all support teams.

Complete required training in line with business needs.

Participate actively in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process efficiency, material flow, and employee development.

Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including routine housekeeping and equipment care tasks.

Perform planned maintenance tasks and assist in identifying equipment that requires repair.

Remain flexible and perform miscellaneous duties as needed to meet business objectives.

Required Skills & Certifications

Certification to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery required.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
