Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a wonderful company based here in the upstate!

This is a contract position requiring someone who is detail oriented and can effectively manage high-volume invoice processing and vendor interactions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process approximately 700-800 accounts payable invoices per month

Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.

Manage purchase orders and verify their alignment with invoices.

Investigate and resolve past due statements to maintain vendor relationships.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and provide clear and detail-oriented communication.

Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve payment discrepancies.

Maintain detailed records of transactions and reconciliations.

Ensure proper coding for invoicing

Provide excellent customer service in all interactions

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including check runs, purchase orders, and reconciliations.

Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions.

Attention to detail and a high level of organizational ability.

Ability to work on-site, adhering to business casual attire guideline
