Position Summary...
The Sam's Club Real Estate team plays a key role in delivering new clubs and improving existing locations across more than 80 million square feet in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
The Senior Manager, Architecture will lead the development and execution of architectural proto@types and change initiatives that support Sam's Club's growth and omni-channel strategy. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and member-focused design solutions.
What you'll do...
Lead development and execution of architectural proto@types, including new club formats, fuel stations, and value engineering initiatives
Drive design for omni-channel programs such as Club Pickup and Delivery from Club
Partner with cross-functional teams (Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Merchandising, and Digital) to align design solutions with business needs
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Manage external architectural and engineering consultants to ensure consistency, quality, and cost control
Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and company requirements
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase speed to market
Support and develop team members through coaching and mentorship
What you'll bring...
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of experience in architectural design, construction, or project management; retail experience preferred
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong working knowledge of BIM and Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements
LEED certification or experience with sustainable design practices

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
