Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Orange, California. In this role, you will handle critical accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial records.

Reconcile balance sheets and other accounts monthly to confirm the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Generate detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Participate in budgeting processes by compiling and analyzing financial data.

Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Monitor organizational expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Collaborate with teams to complete special accounting projects as assigned.

Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance in all financial practices. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles.

Proficiency in preparing journal entries, general ledger management, and corporate tax returns.

Strong knowledge of corporate and sales tax compliance.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (experience with Microsoft systems is a plus).

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
