Mains'l Services is seeking a Medical Lead in our Hastings, MN location. As the medical lead you will coordinate, document, and implement medical supports to help the individual we serve access quality care and live a healthy, meaningful life. The role will also assist in coaching and mentoring Mains'l staff.

At this location you will be supporting a gentleman in his 20s that who enjoys staying physically active- exercise, including swimming, is important to him. He also enjoys music, exploring his community and being out and about. Schedule, structure, and communication are important to him.

What You'll Do:

Provide person-centered supports tailored to the individual needs (including activities of daily living, behavioral supports, coaching through different situations, participating in activities)

Coaching and collaboration with the team

Documenting care accurately to ensure ongoing support

Maintain a safe and structured environment

Assist with coaching and training of Direct Support Professionals

Support individuals in learning new skills based on their interests and preferences

Coordinate, schedule and accompany individuals to medical appointments

Review medical referrals, completing follow-ups and communicate medical updates

Create weekly menus and grocery shopping

Location: Hastings, MN

Schedule:

Week #1 Sun 10a-6p, Tues 10a-6p, Weds 8a-2p, Thurs 8a-2p, Fri 10a-6p

Week #2 Mon 10a-6p, Tues 8a-2p, Weds 8a-2p, Thurs 10a-6p, Sat 10a-6p

Wage: $29.50/Hour

What You Need:

The right candidate will be:

Committed to learning

Patient

Open to communicating what is working and isn't working

Flexible

Able to think outside of the box

Knowledgeable and understanding of person-centered practices and positive supports

A strong team player

Preferred Experience:

Supporting individuals diagnosed with Autism

Positive Behavior Supports/behavioral intervention techniques

Complex medical conditions

Communication devices

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old

Valid MN driver's license , reliable transportation, and valid insurance

Ability to pass a DHS Background Check
