Job Summary and Qualifications

The Access Control & Infant Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for newborns, patients, families, and staff within the Women's Services department. This role oversees and manages infant security systems, badge access, departmental access rights, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-9:00pm

What you will do in this role:

Manage patient visitors and family presenting to the 3rd floor

Maintain infant security systems, monitor doors and alarms, and coordinate resolutions.

Manage badge and band access for Visitors and Patients.

Assist in audits, drills, and compliance activities related to infant safety.

Ensure compliance with security protocols and system use.

Collaborate with Security, IT, Facilities, and Nursing Leadership.

What qualifications you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent

Customer service and patient-centered approach.

Ability to work in high-stress, safety-critical environments.

Technical proficiency with access control systems, badge software, and alarm dashboards.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Commitment to confidentiality and security best practices
