RESTORE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

? Assist in the restoration of files, profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault

? Willing to work in Data Center to facilitate tape movements for data restores.

? Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and e-mail organization

? Profile and permission structure knowledge

? Resolution and ticket handling awareness to align to SLA obtainment

? Develops, manages and tests backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

? Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services.

? Participates in disaster recover drills and business continuity planning.

? Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.

? Creates reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.

? Coordinates with other IT teams to ensure coordinated delivery of IT services.

? Provides recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

? Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

? Experience: 5+ years of related experience

? Technical skills: Critical thinker, Quick Learner, Detail Oriented, and Organizational skills. Ability to work well independently, Verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, and technical support skills.

? Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly

? US citizenship required

? Role requirements: Provides support to end users and other IT staff by resolving complex hardware, software, and system related issues.

? Must be 8570 compliant with a Security+ Certification

? Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

GREENWAY

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
