Job Title: Senior Executive Assistant

Department: Pathology & Lab OperationsLocation: Rochester General Hospital | 1425 Portland Ave. Rochester, NY 14621 Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Monday - Friday , 8-hour shifts, 8a-4p, 9a-5p, or 7a-3p

SUMMARY

As a Senior Executive Assistant, your superior organization skills, strong attention to detail and pleasant demeanor are essential in assisting high-level leadership functions. The Senior Executive Assistant functions as Executive Administrative Assistant to C-Suite, Senior Vice President, or President level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

General Assistance. Act as an ambassador of the organization; serve as primary point of contact for assigned executives' departments; act as a gatekeeper to ensure calls and inquiries are routed to the appropriate subject matter expert; resolve routine issues that arise; research information to provide guidance to assigned executives on a broad range of issues and special projects

Meeting Management. Proactively obtain information to prepare assigned executives for meetings; prepare meeting minutes, agendas and itineraries; provide calendars and meeting management to ensure appropriate prioritization, sequencing, preparation, follow-up and closure; prepare drafts of presentations, correspondences, contracts and forms

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Previous experience supporting vice president level or above required

Considerable experience in a front-line visitor facing reception role required

Advanced computer and keyboard skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and internet research

Excellent written, verbal communication and organization skills and the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
