Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our team in Fall River, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in payroll management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll processing, tax reporting, and multi-state compliance.

Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.

Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll for employees across multiple states.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including accurate payroll tax reporting.

Maintain and update payroll records, addressing discrepancies and resolving employee inquiries.

Prepare and review payroll-related reports, including summaries and audit documentation.

Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations, implementing updates as required.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Handle any payroll adjustments, deductions, and garnishments in accordance with legal requirements. Requirements - Proven experience with full-cycle payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.

Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations.

Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll data and reports.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

Familiarity with payroll compliance laws and regulations on a federal and state level.

Strong problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
