Customer Service Representative

Adecco is seeking a professional Customer Service Representative for a local client in Schenectady, NY. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity, offering a clear path to permanent employment for high-performing candidates.

Role Overview

As the primary point of contact, you will bridge the gap between the company and its clientele. You will manage the end-to-end customer experience-from initial inquiry to resolution-ensuring high levels of satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Schenectady, NY (On-site)

Contract Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel Support: Resolve inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with precision and professional etiquette.

Issue Resolution: Diplomatically handle customer complaints, troubleshoot service hurdles, and provide actionable solutions.

Order Management: Process incoming orders, facilitate returns, and manage account documentation accurately.

Product Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and services to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to remain composed and empathetic in fast-paced environments.

High School Diploma or GED

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
