Position Summary

Assembles parts by following special instructions, routers and blueprints.

Essential Responsibilities

Positions and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints.

Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.

Assemble wire harnesses, connectors and other assemblies or components.

Perform intricate tasks including stripping, crimping, and soldering of wires.

Use Microscopes, hand tools and manually operated machines, etc.

Cleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required.

Uses chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints and inks, as required.

Keeps assembly department clean and free of foreign object damage.

Keeps production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.

Promoting and maintaining a culture of cooperation within and between departments and other production leads.

Maintains and enforces compliance to all policy, procedures and work instructions as outlined in the Quality Management System.

Ensures operation of equipment by submitting service requests for repairs, master new equipment operations and techniques.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of 5S, clean-as-you-go, FOD awareness, and safety observations.

Enforce safety policies and procedures with a safety-first culture across all tasks and employees.

Monitors equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Maintain proper storage for material.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing preventive maintenance measures that reduced downtime.

Good understanding of how production equipment works.

Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Able to read, write and speak English.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Hourly range is from $21.44 to $32.02, plus benefits & incentive plan.
