The core of this role will focus on continuous improvement and simplification of the supply process to create efficiencies for our field partners that reduce operational complexities. In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of our store supply process. You'll serve as the go-to expert for all things related to store supplies and ensure store teams have what they need. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, guide end-to-end projects, and shape the tools and processes that support our stores every day.
Responsibilities
Advocate for stores and serve as the supply expert by developing a strong understanding of store operations, procedures, and needs. Influence cross-functional teams and support new initiatives-including marketing campaigns, brand programs, and strategic store projects.
Partner across the business to plan and deliver store supplies, collaborating closely with Store Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Transportation. Provide strategic recommendations on supply needs, allocation strategies, and store-specific requirements.
Lead key projects that evolve the store supply program, such as state-specific bag ordinances, annual holiday non-merch rollouts, replenishment strategies, and new-store supply planning.
Own project plans, timelines, communication strategies, and stakeholder alignment.
Create and review store-facing content, including operating procedures, change management communications, and updates related to store supplies.
Manage invoice accuracy and reconciliation, partnering with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
Support new-store openings by partnering with Real Estate to ensure supply deliveries are complete, accurate, and on-time for each opening.
Oversee trash and recycling services for all stores, collaborating with landlords, property managers, and CASS partners to ensure proper service levels, especially during seasonal volume peaks.
Anticipate and address emerging supply trends by gathering field feedback and reviewing analytical data. Identify opportunities to improve inventory availability, reduce waste, capture cost efficiencies, and enhance the associate and consumer experience.
Enhance and maintain the store supply ordering platform (Shopify) in partnership with procurement and external vendors, including catalog updates and system improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store teams, district leaders, and cross-functional partners to gather insights, drive continuous improvements, and adapt strategies quickly in response to changing business needs.
Provide day-to-day support to stores by managing and responding to inquiries through the store supply inbox.
Qualifications
Experience in retail operations, supply chain, procurement, project management, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for store teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and cross-functional partnerships
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting business needs
Comfort working with data, insights, and store feedback to inform decisions
Ability to travel for store visits as needed, approximately 25%
Education
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3-5 years in related field required.
