Job Description

We are seeking a LockBox Specialist/Machine Operator to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operating transport and extraction machines, data entry, and high-volume payment processing and a proven ability to execute routine operational tasks accurately, meet production goals, and follow defined procedures.

Responsibilities:

Operate lockbox extraction and transport machines safely and efficiently.

Execute routine processing, filing, recording, servicing, and documentation tasks per defined procedures.

Perform data entry with high speed and accuracy, including 10-key operations.

Assist with document review to ensure proper procedures and documentation are used for basic activities.

Support payment processing across multiple delivery channels such as lockbox, ACH, wires, and related systems.

Handle routine customer service inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

Meet daily production goals and accuracy standards under time constraints.

Perform simple scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on machines as directed.

Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

0-1 year of relevant experience in operations or general office work.

High School Diploma or GED. College degree preferred.

Machine operation experience, especially transport or extraction equipment.

Proficiency with 10-key data entry with speed and accuracy; ability to pass sorting and data entry tests.

Comfort navigating multiple computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and banking policies, procedures, and regulations.

Knowledge of payment delivery channels such as lockbox, ACH, and wires.

Strong customer service, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Good judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and research abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with high transaction volumes.

Physical capability to stand for 8+ hours, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform standing, twisting, bending, and squatting.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in banking operations such as retail banking, credit cards, consumer lending, or lockbox services.

Familiarity with loan documentation and collections, recovery, or origination workflows.

Schedule & Work Environment:

Start time 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until work is complete.
