Now Hiring: Trailer Assembler

Location: Carlisle, PA

2nd Shift: (Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12:00am)

Pay: $18-$25/hr based on experience

Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Trailer Assembler to support the final build of custom-engineered heavy haul trailers. This role involves working directly from blueprints and using a variety of hand and power tools to ensure each trailer is assembled safely and to specification. The position may also offer opportunities to learn additional skills in areas such as paint prep/blasting and, down the road, basic welding or fabrication.

Responsibilities

Assemble heavy haul trailers from start to finish using detailed prints and instructions.

Install and secure mechanical components and hardware.

Perform hydraulic connections, fittings, and assist with control wiring.

Handle general trailer systems work, including pneumatics and electrical functions.

Follow company standards for hose routing, alignment, and overall trailer fit-up.

Mount wheels, steering components, and related assemblies.

Safely operate cranes and other shop equipment as needed

Essential Skills

Ability to interpret blueprints and accurately use measuring tools.

Comfortable working with both hand and power tools.

Understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, pneumatics, and basic fabrication.

Strong mechanical aptitude with prior experience in mechanical assembly.

Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial assembly environments is helpful.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic shop and assembly environment exposed to loud and varying temperatures.

Steel-toed boots are required.

Cell phones are prohibited on the floor to protect proprietary information, and compliance with this policy is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
