Description

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our client's creative team for a contract opportunity, on-site in Marin County, California. This is a contract position where you will play a critical role in producing compelling designs and layouts for both print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute visually appealing layouts for feature stories, columns, and destination pieces in print media.

Collaborate with the Art Director and cross-functional teams, including marketing, editorial, and events, to create cohesive design assets.

Design engaging materials for both print and digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.

Perform photo editing, online proofing, and create online banners.

Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, to produce high-quality designs.

Stay updated on and incorporate AI tools into the design workflow.

Assist in creating promotional materials, including event guides, poster boards, and monthly programs.

Manage multiple projects while adhering to tight production deadlines.

Contribute to ad hoc creative projects that enhance the brand.

Requirements - 1-5 years of detail-oriented experience in graphic design, with a focus on print media.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Familiarity with Canva and a basic understanding of After Effects for animation and motion graphics.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of AI tools used in design workflows is highly desirable.

Enthusiasm for the meetings and events industry and a collaborative work environment.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting and deliver high-quality results.

Experience with creating brochures, banners, and other marketing materials. Innovation starts with people.®
