As the Tax Preparer, you will be the person in charge of the preparation of simple and complex, individual, and small business State and Federal tax returns. Key responsibilities

· Reply to incoming client calls to help with tax questions and set appointments.

· Produce other related duties and participate in special projects assigned.

· Arrange transaction tax returns manually utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies.

· Compute and invoice for form preparation fees

· Type appropriate data into Tax software application

· Interact with clients to gather required information/documents.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Spreadsheet and database capabilities

· Comprehensive knowledge of Tax Preparation

· 3+ year experience preparing tax returns.

· Outstanding data entry skills

· Ability to multitask effectively.

· Work independently with minimal supervision.

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

· AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
