Water Meter Technicians

Employment Types: Full-time

Locations: Various Project Sites- Currently, we have active projects in the following states: Florida, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carlina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. While these are areas with ongoing projects, we frequently acquire new projects across the nation.

We are seeking motivated and dependable Water Meter Technicians to join our field operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for installation and replacement of residential and commercial water meters while providing professional and customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities:

Install, replace, and test residential and commercial water meters in accordance with company and utility standards.

Safely and efficiently navigate work sites, ensuring minimal disruption to property.

Accurately record installation data using company-provided technology.

Communicate effectively with homeowners, customers, and team leads.

Troubleshoot issues on site and escalate complex problems when needed.

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Requirements

Valid drivers license (required).

Must provide and utilize a personal vehicle for daily travel to assigned work sites.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong ability to use tablets, smartphones, and other job-related technology.

Plumbing experience is a plus, but not required.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills.

Compensation, Allowances, Benefits Exclusive to U.S. Service Members and Veterans:

Veteran Mentorship Group- Peer-to-peer support, Veteran benefits navigation, Veteran resources, and community.

Veteran of the Month Program- Peer-nominated, winner receives a $200 bonus.

Guaranteed Minimum Compensation- $1,000 per weekif the Veteran technician works Monday-Friday.

Increased Vehicle Stipend- $20/day, higher than our traditional allowance.

Tool Stipend up to $250.

Company-Funded Lodging- Hotel accommodations for technicians traveling more than 1.5 hours from the project site (no cost to all technicians).

Technicians are compensated on a piece-rate basis at $12 per meter, with most team members completing 3-5 meters per hours. Weekly earnings vary based on individual productivity and total number of meters completed.
