Your Impact at SAM
We are seeking a motivated individual interested in the construction industry who wants to grow their skills in construction surveying. This role supports a range of projects from large-scale industrial sites to mid-size commercial construction.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience-or limited surveying experience-who is eager to learn, think critically, and contribute to project success alongside an experienced Survey Party Chief and Project Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with construction layout and field operations using total stations and related high quality survey equipment
Support daily field activities, including stakeout, as-builts, and site verification
Work alongside the Survey Party Chief to solve field challenges and ensure accurate project execution
Maintain clear, organized field notes and documentation
Communicate field conditions, issues, and progress back to the office team
Provide feedback to support field-to-office coordination and continuous improvement
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety-first job site culture
Adapt to flexible work hours based on construction schedules and project needs
