Position Summary...
The Director, Offsite Energy Investments leads the development and execution of Walmart's global renewable energy origination strategy, securing long-term partnerships and power purchase agreements to enable affordable clean energy and strengthen the grid. This role drives capital deployment into offsite renewable projects that deliver economic value and emissions reductions while managing a high-performing team. What you'll do...
Lead bold, global strategy and execution of PPAs, green tariffs, and community solar to accelerate Walmart's decarbonization goals
Originate and scale transformative partnerships and large-scale renewable energy investments across global markets
Enable grid-scale infrastructure that delivers affordable, reliable, and clean energy for the future power system
Pioneer innovative deal structures and emerging technologies to unlock new energy solutions at scale
Build and lead a high-performing team while collaborating cross-functionally to drive measurable impact
Shape energy markets through policy engagement and strategic influence-advancing a resilient, low-carbon grid
What you'll bring:
Proven expertise in negotiating and executing long-term renewable energy agreements and strategic partnerships.
Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of energy analysis and carbon footprint reduction strategies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management plans aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
Excellent communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory and policy environments.
Ability to drive business strategies that balance economic value with environmental impact.
Experience collaborating across functions to advance decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
