Shift: M-F 8 am- 5 pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to support a busy specialty healthcare practice. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring efficient patient scheduling and accurate administrative support.

Key responsibilities:

Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments accurately and efficiently

Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

Greet patients and visitors upon arrival and ensure a positive front-desk experience

Verify patient insurance eligibility and demographic information prior to appointments

Enter and update patient data within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Maintain accurate documentation and support daily front-office operations

EPIC experience would be preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havre de Grace, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
