A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer Position @type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 17+ months Location: Bohemia, NY As an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer , you will: Define and solve technical problems in manufacturing, assembly, and testing environments. Implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives on assigned product lines. Collaborate with design engineering teams to enhance manufacturability of products. Develop efficient production workflows and determine optimal sequencing of operations. Prepare cost estimates for proposed projects and analyze cost factors. Support facility layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment as needed. Solve manufacturing challenges of varying complexity. Design tools, fixtures, and gauges using SolidWorks or similar to improve manufacturing processes and address safety concerns. 3D printing of fixtures. Create detailed assembly work instructions using Microsoft Power Point. Program laser printers and develop operator instructions for laser printing processes. The ideal candidate will have: BS in an engineering field Aerospace background 6+ years relevant in Manufacturing Engineering. Experience supporting machine operations, including fixture/tool design, tool life management, routing/work instructions, and CNC programming familiarity.
